What is the Leftymatic?

A trusted movement. Moved where it belongs.

Leftymatic movement — crown at 9 o'clock
The Leftymatic is not an off-the-shelf caliber. It is an in-house customized and regulated Seiko NH36A. Shifting the mechanics to accommodate a 9 o'clock crown requires complex structural changes unique to Valenne and difficult to replicate.
The Base
Seiko NH36A — one of the most reliable automatics made. Hacks, hand-winds, 21,600 bph.
The Modification
Crown stem relocated from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock. Dial, hands, and date window mirrored.
The Result
A Destro automatic with day-date — crown away from your hand, where it should be.

Movement Customization
The Seiko NH36A caliber is carefully modified in-house — the crown stem relocated to 9 o'clock and the dial mirrored. This is the hardest part to get right.

Your watch is fully assembled, regulated for accuracy, and pressure-tested to confirm its 100m water resistance rating.
Quality Control
Every detail is inspected before it leaves. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship.
